Description:
BrandBold Brilliance Concrete Pre-Treatment ETCH & CLEAN is a mildly acidic cleaning solution that produces a light etch in preparation of staining and/or coating concrete. The material uses a mild acid to lightly etch the surface and remove mild efflorescence. Using ETCH & CLEAN instead of muriatic acid gently increases the porosity of the surface without damaging the substrate chemicals necessary for subsequent acid staining, thereby allowing better penetration of the stain solution.
ETCH & CLEAN is used on BOTH new concrete pours and existing concrete slabs before applying the stain. This is an important step as this will open the pours of your concrete and ready it to absorb as much stain as possible.
